After spending 10 years supporting some of the industry’s most advanced telematics systems, I decided to build something the market was missing: an independent resource focused on solutions, not subscriptions. My goal is simple—to help customers get real value from their data.

My background combines hands-on equipment experience with technical and implementation leadership. While attending Missouri S&T, I spent summers operating and repairing equipment, including haul trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers, and aggregate plants. After graduating as a Mining and Explosives Engineer, I moved south to work for a Caterpillar dealer, where I spent 3.5 years helping implement a MineStar system at a gold mine in South Carolina and leading the project from installation to change management & action item creation.

I later supported machine technology across mixed fleets before joining Caterpillar in 2021 as lead VisionLink training and support for the Americas. In that role, I worked directly with end users across a wide range of applications, helping them understand the platform and apply it in ways that improved results. As my role shifted and changed over the years, I was pulled further from my passion of helping customers find value and pushed more towards selling the highest-level subscription.

Ballyhoo Telematics Solutions was born.
